Fabien Ecochard is a director who has made human beings the central subject of his work. This sensitivity, combined with a poetic search in his portrayals, leads him to choose projects that allow him to reveal the strength of a bond: one not only shared among people but also with their environment. Storytelling through emotions and careful photography forms the basis of his artistic choices. A versatile director, Fabien Ecochard is accustomed to working with actors of all ages. This sensitivity has led him to create several highly poetic films featuring children, as evidenced by his work for SOS Village d’Enfant and Ecole Polytechnique.

Roxana studied directing at the National University of Theatre and Cinema “I.L. Caragiale” in Bucharest.
Her short films have participated in many international festivals and have won several awards. Her short film Perennial Plants, made in 2013, won the Critics Award at the International Student Film Festival CineMaiubit in Bucharest while Black Friday was named Best Romanian Short Film at the Transilvania International Film Festival in 2015.A Night in Tokoriki has obtained more than 100 festival selections (San Sebastian, Karlovy Vary, Namur…) and 25 awards.
The main characteristics of her work are the minimalist dialogues and the use of music and slow motion in key scenes.
Appalachia has been selected for the Euro Connection programme in Clermont-Ferrand 2020.

Alex Dashwood is a 22 year old filmmaker from Hamilton, Ontario. He is an award winning writer and director with work on many unique productions, including short films Girl Scout Cookies and Ruthful, series Yikes! and Yesterday Will Hurt, and the SpiritLive show For Ex-Sample. Back to the Closet has been a dream, and Alex is thrilled to see it come to life.

Alun Rhys Morgan

Born and bred in South Wales, Alun is a fluent Welsh speaking writer director and has always loved making films that are a bit more on the fun side. His recent short horror comedy was selected at 22 festivals and won the Melies d’argent at Abertoir Film Festival.

For the past 10 years he has been directing TV commercials and self funded short films. He has been mentored by director Euros Lyn (Black Mirror, Heartstopper, Dream Horse, Dr Who)

Diana Naecke is a documentary film director and directs audio dramas. As an author and video artist, she also collaborates with musicians, visual artists, and performance artists. She studied
journalism (specializing in radio) and theatre studies in Leipzig, graduating with a diploma.
