Djamel Bennecib is a French screenwriter and director whose creative voice was shaped in Los Angeles. Trained at several film schools and universities, including UCLA, he has written and directed multiple award-winning short films and is currently developing original screenplays for film and television. Years spent adapting films and series for Netflix, Disney, Amazon, and HBO Max have given him a unique cross-cultural sensibility — one that informs the tone, rhythm, and authenticity of his own scripts.

Peter Ricq is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary artist, filmmaker, writer, and performer. He has co-created several animated series, including “The League of Super Evil”, and directed music videos for his band, HUMANS. Peter has also released a well-received graphic novel, “Once Our Land”, which is currently being worked into an animated feature. In addition, he published a children’s book titled “Ghosts Are People Too” in 2022. Peter made his live-action directorial debut with “Dead Shack”, which was shown at global film festivals, including Sitges, London Fright Fest, VIFF, NIFFF, Toronto After Dark, and Fantasia where it was awarded the Silver Prize for the best Canadian Feature. He is also known for his murals and live music performances.

Simon Young hails from the corn fields and now defunct video stores of rural Ohio. His love of horror led him to Pittsburgh, PA where he studied special effects make-up and monster building. He would later attend and graduate from Vancouver Film School’s animation dept. He currently lives in Vienna, Austria and spends every spare moment creating trash horror animation.

Adrian Abbott is a London-based filmmaker with a background in editing, cinematography, and colour grading across award-winning short films and micro-budget features. A director with a sharp political sensibility and a love of genre cinema, their work spans both fiction and documentary, exploring horror, memory, and social justice with equal intensity.

As an editor, they have contributed to the feature films Just Say Yes (2024) and Mermaid Beach (2025). They served as cinematographer on the award-winning short comedy horror The Cutbacks, directed by Robert Sladden, and worked as colourist on Tortured Artist, directed by Thomas Laurance. Additional credits include video editor on Hatty Haines’ short film Straight Jacket.

Jérémy Barlozzo is a French director. His first short film, “I Don’t Know,” garnered several festival awards and attracted significant interest from broadcasters (TF1, OCS). He later became the co-creator and co-director of the comically edgy animated series “Gustave” (France TV Slash). After participating musically in various feature films, he made his acting debut in the police series “Polar Park” (Arte). In 2024, he presents “In the Shadow” (Bloom Production), a new short film where he embraces his passion for horror.

Gregory Scotiniadis is a Greek filmmaker and composer based in North Carolina, whose passion for storytelling began at the age of seven. Growing up in Greece, he immersed himself early on in the art of crafting stories that explore the intersection of myth, fear, and human emotion. Although life initially led him down a different professional path, his creative vision never faded.

Years later, with the unwavering support of his wife, Gregory made the bold decision to pursue his childhood dream and dedicate himself fully to filmmaking. He wrote, directed, and produced Silent Screams, a horror short film based on his original feature-length screenplay. The film received glowing reviews from both audiences and critics and has surpassed one million views on YouTube — a testament to its wide reach and powerful emotional impact.

Deeply inspired by his Greek heritage, Gregory often reimagines ancient mythology through a contemporary horror lens. In Silent Screams, he brings the Fury — an ancestral figure of vengeance — to life as a sightless creature guided by heightened senses, embodying guilt and fear. His collaboration with an Academy Award-winning prosthetics artist reflects his commitment to meticulous craftsmanship and high-quality production.

Gregory is currently filming two new horror short films, each inspired by a feature-length screenplay he has written, further expanding a coherent creative universe that weaves together mythology, psychological terror, and emotional storytelling. The author of several feature film scripts, he continues to develop new projects with the ambition of creating horror films that are visually striking, emotionally powerful, and driven by an original vision aimed at an international audience.
