Weijia MA is an independent animation artist. She teaches at the University of Shanghai. The same river twice, her graduation film made at the Art Institute of Chicago, has won awards at numerous festivals, including the Hiroshima International Animation Festival, the Bucheon International Animation Festival and the Chicago International Film Festival.

Cinéma as always been my passion. I’m 23 years old and I recently graduated from a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Audiovisual Production, in Palma de Mallorca. Yéyé is my second short film, co-produced by CEF Produccions. My first short Playboys was a student work, and now, I’m making my second step into this industry with my new film Yéyé.

Jules is an Art Director in the advertising industry. For almost 15 years he worked on ads for Ubisoft, Adidas, Warner Games, Orange and Instagram among others. In recent years he has been learning filmmaking with commercials. Slurp is his first short film. It’s a more personal work, far from commercial matters.

Nicknamed Spoon, she freelances as a Director and Producer, working closely with many production houses, ad agencies and direct clients. She graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, received a Diploma with Merit in Film, Sound & Video, and has a Bachelor Degree in Professional Communication (RMIT).

In her directing career, she has helmed six narrative short films and a documentary short, which have been screened on film festivals and online media. Her latest short films “Sylvia” and “Pa” are released and available on Viddsee.

Her works have went on to 6th Singapore Indie Documentary Fest, 6th Singapore Short Films, Beijing Film Academy Awards and other online medias. A recipient of Akanga Film Asia Prize in scriptwriting, and Cathay Organization Film Prize, she was also awarded the Shaw Foundation Silver Medal & Prize.

Originally from Ravenna in Italy, Valentina Casadei graduated in cinema history from Dams in Bologna. She then moved to Paris to take an English-speaking Master in screenplay and directing at Eicar. In 2016 and 2017, she wrote and directed two short films, “All About Emily” and “Blessed Days”, selected in numerous international film festivals and distributed by Artex Film. Her first professional short film, “End of September” (2020), is produced by First Child Srl with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission and is distributed by Tiny Distribution. She is a programmer and member of the jury for several short film festivals. She has also published three collections of poems with three Italian publishing houses. She is currently developing three short films as well as her first feature film, within the Screenwriting Atelier 2021 at Fémis in Paris.

Film director and screenwriter graduated from the University of Valparaíso. As a student, he wrote the script of the short film “Al Margen” (2011) premiered at Cinélatino, Rencontres de Toulouse. His graduation short film, “Reo” (2017) premiered at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. His first professional short film, “Yun” (2019) premiered at the 30th version of Kinoforum Festival.

Majored in politics and journalism, Yann Kerloc’h worked as a film journalist specialised in Asian movies, then in film sales and coproduction companies. In between, he directed film projects and discovered a passion for South Korea, where he is living since 2009 and directed several short films, with Korean teams, French and/or Korean actors. In 2016, Like a B1 was selected in 20 film festivals in Korea, France and rest of the world. IN 2018, the short film Bam Bam Bam premiered in Jecheon Music and Film Festival and is the first of several projects related to music, followed by the short film At your pace. In 2017, his feature film project Warm Blood was part of the workshop Ties That Bind of Udine and Singapour Film Festival.
