Patrick Muroni started in audiovisual media as a technician for a local television. He then worked on the editing of a semi-professional medium-length film before passing a literary baccalaureate. He starts a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema after a first propaedeutic year at the Cantonal Art School of Lausanne (ECAL). He graduates in 2017 with his film Foulek.

Bernhard Wenger

Bernhard Wenger war born 1992 in Salzburg, Austria. After graduating high school he moved to Vienna, where he studied film theory and gained professional set experience. He was accepted to the Vienna Film Academy in 2014, and is currently pursuing degrees in both directing and production.

Bernhard’s last short films have been screened and won awards at prestigious film festivals like Nashville Film Festival, Palm Springs Film Festival, Chicago Film Festival, Uppsala Film Festival, Odense Film Festival, St. Louis Film Festival, Max Ophüls Award, etc. He has won over 70 international awards and in 2015, received the Award for Art and Culture in his hometown. His short KEEPING BALANCE was released online as a Vimeo Staff Pick in November 2017.

J.L. Wolfenstein

I was born in Paris, 1991. Growing up with music videos and late 90s films, I knew pretty early on that’s what I wanted to do. Loved Gondry, Fincher, Spielberg – then on to Kubrick, Aronofsky, The Coen brothers and so many more. I got my first camera at age 14, and I’ve moved on from project to project ever since. So I went to film university where I got my degree and met great people.

One thing I love in movies is how sound can tell stories. In 2014, still finishing up my studies, I co-wrote and directed my first short Noise & Confusion about a rare auditory symptom called hyperacusis, which was awarded Best Score at the TMC London Festival.

Sound design and stories where sound plays an important part continue to fascinate me, I always try to include it in my work, commercials or short films. I’m now writing a mini-series and developing my first feature script.

Marc Eikelenboom

Marc Eikelenboom (Vlaardingen, 1970) worked as an actor for years, before starting a career as a movie director in 2013. He developed his skills within the 48 Hour Film Project, earning a lot of prizes and nominations. The biggest success came in 2016, winning the editions of Rotterdam (with Underdog) and Amsterdam (with My Pleasure). During the world final of the 48 Hour Film Project in Seattle My Pleasure received prizes for Best use of Genre and Best Cinematography as well, beating over 5.000 participating films. In 2017 Eikelenboom made the film Cross the Bridge commissioned by De Wereld Draait Door, the number 1 talkshow in the Netherlands. It was broadcasted to over 1,5 million Dutch television users and screened in theatres throughout the country. The director is now working on a 30 minute’ short film titled ‘Masterpiece’. The recordings toke place in the United States in 2017.

Kaveh Mazaheri

Born 1981 in Tehran, Iran. An interest in cinema led Mazaheri to begin writing film criticism for Iranian magazines after graduating from college in 2004. His first short film, Tweezers (2007). To date, he has made four independent short films and more than twenty short and long documentaries. He is the editor and author of a great many projects aside from his own.
