Olivier Wright

Olivier is a French-British filmmaker who holds Masters in political science (La Sorbonne) and philosophy (King’s College London). After attending EICAR film school, he self-produced his first films, including a 7-year project which led to his feature film ”Ψ – THE LIVES YOU COULD HAVE LIVED” (www.psi-the-project.com), an international docu-fiction at the crossroads of art and science. SURFER KILLERS is his first professionally produced work and reflects his desire to direct horror films. He is working on several other projects, including a CNC-supported series, and is currently in pre-production on his next short film, co-produced by France Télévisions and the CNC, which will begin shooting in July 2024.

Ava Pearson is a 17-year old currently living in England studying for her A-Levels. She is profoundly deaf in both ears and hears with cochlear implants. She has loved telling stories for as long she can remember and has wanted to make films since she could read the subtitles.

David Padilla

Having grown up between France and Italy, David Padilla is loyal to his dual culture. With a desire to integrate this identity in his work as a screenwriter and director, he joins his passions for cinema and the fantastic to create “Cults”. It is as a seasoned set technician who has collaborated with numerous directors (Dupontel, Emilio-Siri, Gatlif, Du Welz…) that he takes on the challenge of an unconventional and ambitious project with his first short film.

Rafa Dengrá, also known as Alexander Dreissel, is a self-taught short filmmaker. Writer, director, film editor, cinematographer and actor, his own production company SoulPsychoKiller is a reference point in fantastic and horror Spanish short film world. His short films have been selected in most important and prestigious festivals around the world. He is the director of the Festival de Cortometrajes Fantásticos y/o Freaks Fantosfreak.
